Seems like SP is the concern with potential abuse of waivers. Would using waivers(10?) for SP’s only and look at limiting moves after Sept 1 to IL moves or waiver claims(only for minor leaguers called up) be a decent way to keep it from ever becoming a problem?
Not suggesting we change that this year just throwing out an idea.

It would become an issue of tracking waivers for just a pitchers. 

The problem is Fantrax can’t separate an add/drop from replacing a minor leaguer or an IL move.  So then someone (Curt or myself) has to come up with a system to track all the waivers vs other moves.  Once you get a few days behind, it can become an issue.  People make moves and they sometimes forget to post it.  You then have to check the transactions to make sure everything matches.

People want a complicated rule system, but they don’t want to put in the time to make it work.

Exactly.  Fortunately, even if people forget to post it, every move made shows up on my screen, so I can just clip and paste onto a Word program.  Fantrax KNOWS when it's an IR move, it just can't be trained not to deduct a waiver.  Silly Fantrax.

VOTING ISSUES 2

1) Change pitchers to 4 SP/4 RP/4 P.  This will mean that relievers that get starts will not score points and will have to be moved to the P position.

1 start.  There would be 54 relievers needed.  There are plenty of my of closers, closer committees,’set up men for this.  If you want a SP/RP there are 8 spots for those players.
