Kelly's stuff can play at this level. Just a matter of command.

He might turn into a useful pitcher, but that comment applies to thousands of swinging dicks.

Nico is the perfect guy to hit a HR into a gale like this.

Man, DO NOT trade Ramirez. He just keeps putting together unbelievable ABs.

Pedro's great AB leads to the go-ahead run. You cannot give this guy up in the middle of a playoff run.

I get that you need six outs anyway, but with Webb burned who's the supposed closer?

With home run Thielbar set to "close", that was a big run.

I wish we had gotten even more; two on and nobody out usually leads to at least one more run.

Thielbar in to try to get his third save of the year.

Didn't see a minute of it, but looks like that was a great game.  After facing so many excellent pitchers and on-their-game pitchers, being down 2-1 looked pretty gloomy.  What a nice way to come back and win.

And another excellent game for Peterson, just the one HR earned run.  What an unlikely boost he's been, thus far.  Nice, nice, nice.  Kinda unbelievable, really.  And the bullpen, no runs.  Timely win, getting swept always feels crummy.  Now no chance, and maybe they'll score some runs and win the series tomorrow.

Not that unbelievable given the Mets' impressive ability to screw up pitchers. Peterson has been very decent until the second half of last season.
