Crazy.  Fun.  Brewers lost in extras, Cubs will pull within 3 games.  Who'd have thought.

Gotta feel for Williams, he's got nothing and just taking one for the team.

Well, Gausman looked pretty great for 4 innings then got pounded.

Only thing left is it see if they can break up the perfect game.

Even without those guys, Nats are a good offensive team. Nats still lead MLB in Runs Scored by a wide margin. They have outscored the Dodgers by over 50 runs.

Nats lineup today includes OPS values of .713, .762, .662, .684, .654.

Two of the others are kids with a combined 32 at-bats coming in.

Busch's 2-strike blooper turns out to be the only hit.

Tell that to Craig Counsell. He said post-game in this series that Nats are a really good offensive team. And they are.

Yeah, Nats have a LOT of good young hitting talent.  And guys who could improve into the future.  That team could become a force, if they can stick together and add some good pitching.  Cavalli is really talented.

Nats new 1B Ortiz—who replaced the traded Luis Garcia—looks like a hitting beast. I was at the Wednesday game at Nats Park and his upper deck job was reminiscent of some of the shots Bryce Harper used to hit as a Nat.
