sort of sad to watch the rapid declines of the greats. You spend years hoping your team misses a guy in the rotation, but when they start proving themselves overly mortal, it just doesn't feel right. Halladay's fastball has been 88-91 in Florida this spring. I would think he was saving it for the regular season, but I'm not sure he was really any faster than that last year. Doubt Philly picks up his option next year either, so he will probably be on the free agent market.
