Getsy has a fetish for trickery.  It's 3rd and 1.  Just line up in a traditional formation and run the ball.  It's worked for over 100 years.

Nate Tice makes his case for Drake Maye:

Nate Tice's second mock draft goes into detail on why Drake Maye is QB1, why the Patriots get their QB (just not Caleb Williams), and why we don't see our first defensive player off the b...

I agree that the QB position starts from inside the pocket. Am I ready for another North Carolina QB? Even though there is little evidence that Fields is going to be "one of the best in the league", the sound of a NC QB coming out early worries me..

I don't know that Maye coming out of the same school as Trubisky would make any difference.  JC Sroud came out of Ohio State.  Plus Maye was a 2 year starter at NC - Trubisky just the one year.

Maye has been compared to Justin Herbert.

Who has Justin Fields been compared to ?

By who, the same ones that said Trubisky was all that and a bag a chips? If they decide to trade Fields and draft a QB, I'll be fine with it. Me? I draft Harrison Jr., upgrade the O line, and further upgrade the D line. Especially if we can trade out and get another number one for next year. The downside, Fields hasn't shown that he is the man. He for sure has the physical attributes, hasn't shown promise after that. Hopefully he can change that next season..

Plus, a new O coordinator sure as he!l wouldn't hurt the situation..

My feeling is stick with Fields and Bagent.  I think at least one of them can develop into a solid plus starter if they have a good surrounding cast and an OC that knows what he is doing.

Fields gets punched in the side of the helmet.  Erin Rogers gets looked at sideways and it is two flags.  Unreal.

Velus Jones is such a dunderhead!  The guy is constantly making bone head mistakes.

Lucas Patrick blowss and needs to be replaced, but even more Nate Davis should be put to sleep, like for ever, he needs to be replaced ASAP.  The D was looking good today, but it makes me think Everlose is coming back next year.  Now big question is do they keep Fields, and what do they do with #1.  Marvin Harrison Jr with DJ Moore would be a deadly combo, just saying.

Good all around game for the Bears as a team. Room for improvement, but none the less a good game. Fields played well today. The Defense is really playing well. Add another pass rusher and this could really be a good defense. I want a win next week..

Crowd chants heard on TV.
Green Bay sucks!
We want Fields!

5 game home winning streak to end the season.
5-1 in last six games. Hopefully 6-1 in the last 7.
7 wins on the season. Hopefully 8 and beat the shit out of GB. And I hit the over on the 7.5 Bears bet for the season.
Justin Fields looking like one of the better QBs in the league.

If anyone told you that was the Bears going into the last game of the season at the begging of the year I think everyone on this board would take that as a successful season.
