Regarding Urlacher, apparently his camp put a proposal in front of Emery already. I don't know what the terms were and there are no indications the Bears have returned a counter-offer. So right now I believe the hold-up is on the Bears' end. Very likely they are waiting to see if he draws any serious interest so they know how much leverage they have to counter with.
All I know is that I would hate to lose both Roach and Urlacher and then have to reach for a LB in the draft to compensate. We still have unfinished business on the interior of the OL, we have no deep threat to speak of at WR, and depending on what happens with Collins/Okoye/Izzy we may be mighty slim at DT as well.
