Brewers beat Skubal and take 3/4 in LA.

Walters is now selling his 12% stake in Chelsea soccer club.  Possible the Dodgers and Sparks could be for sale as well or it may just be the Lakers and Chelsea.

Cubs fans had various frustrations regarding the Tucker situation. First, that he wasn't productive after the first couple of months.  Second that the Cubs made no effort to make a competitive extension offer.  Third, that they trade Cam Smith for a one-year rental. 

Smith is a young guy, still only 23, with lots of years ahead of him, so he may blossom into a star in time.  We've seen PCA improve in unbelievable ways, may Smith will do that over the years ahead. 

But thus far, he's not really been that hot.  .671 OPS last year, .687 this year, with sub-.300 OBP.  Trading for a rental would burn a lot worse if the guy you traded blossoms into a star.  May still happen, but not so far. 

Brewers up 19-0.

Brewers win 22-0.

According to MLB, Brewers tonight get credit for TWO wins (and Mariners two losses) for winning a game by three or more touchdowns. Apparently, this is part of the “4 out rule” that manifested itself several days ago and puzzled many.

The Dodgers currently have one of the best local TV deals in sports — 25 years, $8.35 billion for an average of $334 million annually — but Walter was willing to exit the deal early in exchange for upfront cash today.

2 insurance companies he owns loaned him or other companies he owns $16 billion.  The loans weren't reported that he was loaning himself the money, so he is facing an insurance fraud investigation and possible jail time.  He's trying to raise as much as he can to prevent himself from going to jail.
