…Here's a question - can you point to any pitcher on the staff right now and say you have confidence in them, other than Holmes and Gausman? Is there even one, starter or reliever?

Asking that question kinda shows the wisdom of Hoyer’s moves at trade deadline, no?

So, I guess most everyone on board with those moves now.

In any case, Cubs pitching has had ups and downs throughout the season. So, depends WHEN ask that question.

A week from now, perhaps will have different answers. One or two more really good outings next from Zeferjahn will have Deeg back on board and perhaps even renewing his invitation to Zeferjahn for Deeg Fave Club membership.
